Stol Guitars builds “LD Custom” model for Les Dudek
The LD Custom model was born in the dressing room at Infinity Hall shortly before Les went on stage. Precise measurements were taken from Les' favorite Strat and then built into a Les Paul style guitar. The scale length, neck size and contour are all customized to Les' specifications so he'd have a Les Paul style guitar that plays like a Strat!
This guitar body is made from a one-piece flame maple
top over chambered mahogany.
The neck features a rosewood fingerboard with “Les Dudek” custom
pearl inlay and cream binding.
The peghead has ebony veneer with mother-of-pearl purfling and cream binding.
A Kahler Pro Series trem makes the chords shimmer and sits in the middle
of a vivid traditional cherry sunburst.
